We have to use Split APK Installer because the Pixel Weather apk is a bundled apk and we can not install it normally.</li><li>Now open Pixel Weather app and grant location permissions when requested.</li><li>Now you add add the widgets on your launcher home screen by choosing the Pixel Weather widgets from the widget list. Fast forward 2 (or 3) months and Google has started rolling out these changes for users. This is a server side rollout and I also got the new design with Google TV app version - 4.39.3507.792126911.4-release.<br /><br />While we can not say this is some massive overhaul of the design. Google implemented the changes here and there in the app. Lets start with the changes which are immediately noticeable on the home page of the app.</p><p>The most noticeable change in the app is that the app no longer have a grayish background. Left image shows the old UI and right image shows the new one. The gray color on the tabs at the navigation bar has been changed to a much darker color but not totally black. The search button now have background and it's color changes according to the most dominant color of the movie poster in its background. The options in the screen has been reorganized. I installed the Camera app from Pixel 10 on my Pixel 9. While you might think that installing it on older Pixels might bring some of those features from Pixel 10, unfortunately that is not possible here. You can see that the on Pixel 10, the Pro Res Zoom feature will require you to download a 1 GB AI model. You will find it under the <b>Model download </b>section. We also have the new Camera Coach and Auto Best Take options in the settings and you can turn them off easily.</p><p>For video recording you can now select between <a data-preview="" href="https://www.google.com/search?ved=1t:260882&q=define+H.265&bbid=8626729087010168519&bpid=3844103252764131177" target="_blank">H.265</a>, <a data-preview="" href="https://www.google.com/search?ved=1t:260882&q=define+H.264&bbid=8626729087010168519&bpid=3844103252764131177" target="_blank">H.264</a> and AV1 format. H.265 and AV1 both options are best for storage saving video recordings but H.265 will produce more compatible videos which can be used in other apps.<br /><br />Other Pixel users will also soon get the new Google Camera update which will give them the expressive UI in settings and other places but do not get your hopes high for the new features from Pixel 10 series.</p><p></p>
