Back in May, on Android Authority, I shared about the Expressive UI changes coming to the Google TV app on Android. Fast forward 2 (or 3) months and Google has started rolling out these changes for users. This is a server side rollout and I also got the new design with Google TV app version - 4.39.3507.792126911.4-release.
While we can not say this is some massive overhaul of the design. Google implemented the changes here and there in the app. Lets start with the changes which are immediately noticeable on the home page of the app.
The most noticeable change in the app is that the app no longer have a grayish background. Left image shows the old UI and right image shows the new one. The gray color on the tabs at the navigation bar has been changed to a much darker color but not totally black. The search button now have background and it's color changes according to the most dominant color of the movie poster in its background. The color of text now again follows the color from poster and the size of button on the poster is also tweaked.

The next thing is the UI of the remote through which you control your Google TV. It has a touch of Material 3 Expressive UI with split style buttons. Here are all the screenshots from the new UI.

Other than these changes we have some expressive elements here and there in the UI such the loading bar and the icons at the top of the poster image.

As I said in the beginning these changes has been rolling out for users but if you don't see it on your device, please check your Google TV version and update if necessary. Thanks to @chef_chief on telegram for the tip and providing remote UI screenshots.
