Google Play Store working on a new UI when you open Play Store app listings through external links

Google Play Store has been testing a new UI when an user open an app store listing by clicking a Play Store link/URL from other apps. <div><br></div><div>Usually when you open a Play Store listing, you see a full screen page with all the details and all other things. You have to swipe back again to go back to the app from where you opened the app listing. This was not the case with the previous design and you could go back with just a single back gesture. <div><br></div><div>Another thing is that the bottom sheet increases its height after you tap the Install button to show you ads and other recommended apps to install. </div><div><br></div><div>This change isn't live yet and could be available in upcoming versions. The Extension name itself doesn't make much sense here but there are few strings which hints at some "<b>Speech Enhancement</b>" extensions. </div><div><br /></div><blockquote><string name="speech_enhancement_extension_category_title">Extension<string><br /><string name="speech_enhancement_extension_category">speech_enhancement_extension<string></blockquote><div><br /></div><div>This extension section as you can see in the screenshots is currently empty because Google is still working on it. According to PapersWithCode -"Speech Enhancement is a signal processing task that involves improving the quality of speech signals captured under noisy or degraded conditions. The goal of speech enhancement is to make speech signals clearer, more intelligible, and more pleasant to listen to, which can be used for various applications such as voice recognition, teleconferencing, and hearing aids." </div><div><br /></div><div>Speech enhancement definitely makes sense as Google app has to do a lot of voice input when we use Google assistant or Gemini to ask for things.
