We have to use Split APK Installer because the Pixel Weather apk is a bundled apk and we can not install it normally.</li><li>Now open Pixel Weather app and grant location permissions when requested.</li><li>Now you add add the widgets on your launcher home screen by choosing the Pixel Weather widgets from the widget list. Different devices have different way of adding widgets, so figure this out yourself :p</li><li>You have to keep the location enabled all the time, otherwise the widgets will not show any information and will ask you to enable the location.</li></ol><p>I have tested this on my OnePlus 13R running Android 15 and things worked as expected. Fast forward 2 (or 3) months and Google has started rolling out these changes for users. This is a server side rollout and I also got the new design with Google TV app version - 4.39.3507.792126911.4-release.<br /><br />While we can not say this is some massive overhaul of the design. Google implemented the changes here and there in the app. Lets start with the changes which are immediately noticeable on the home page of the app.</p><p>The most noticeable change in the app is that the app no longer have a grayish background. Left image shows the old UI and right image shows the new one. The gray color on the tabs at the navigation bar has been changed to a much darker color but not totally black. The search button now have background and it's color changes according to the most dominant color of the movie poster in its background. You can see that the on Pixel 10, the Pro Res Zoom feature will require you to download a 1 GB AI model. You will find it under the <b>Model download </b>section. Here is the first look at Google Pixel's Battery Health Assistant feature

<p>With Google Pixel 9a, Google is bringing a feature called Battery Health Assistant which automatically helps manage the long term health and performance of its battery as it ages. Battery health assistance will also tune the phone’s charging speed based on adjusted capacity. You may notice a slight change in battery charging performance. Battery health assistance settings on Pixel 9a aren’t customizable by the user. With a recent Settings Services app update Google has added the necessary things for the feature and I was able to activate the setting on my Pixel 9. Users can currently trigger Circle to Search by long pressing the gesture nav handle or if you use the three button nav, you can long press the home button. <div><br /></div><div>Now it looks like Google is adding more ways to open Circle to Search. With the latest update of Google beta app (version 16.2.39.sa.arm64 beta) I found some code that hints that Google is adding more ways to access your favorite feature (in case you hate it, just deal with it). The code above hints about more entry points for Circle to Search. </div><div><br /></div><div>We already know about NAV_HANDLE, HOME and FILES_APP (yes, you can trigger Circle to Search in Files by Google app when you open an image in it). The rest of the entry points seems new. I am not sure about what KIKI_APP and META is. Let's talk about the rest though.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>OMNIENT_ENTRYPOINT_LONG_PRESS_OVERVIEW - </b>Overview screen is basically the recents screen which shows all your apps you have opened. So it's possible Google could adding a button in the overview screen which can trigger Circle to Search for the app which is in focus in the recents screen.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>OMNIENT_ENTRYPOINT_LONG_PRESS_POWER -</b> Google can add a new option to trigger CTS by long pressing the power button. I think this will be part of a system update (Android 16 probably). On pixels, currently you can only set power button to trigger assistant on long press or open power menu.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>OMNIENT_ENTRYPOINT_EDGE_PANEL - </b>The Edge panel on a Samsung Galaxy device is a shortcut tab that provides quick access to your favorite apps. So you will be able soon add a shortcut here to trigger Circle to Search.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>OMNIENT_ENTRYPOINT_ACCESSIBILITY_SYSTEM_ACTION -</b> I am not sure if this new of Google already does this. This is for users who use Android accessibility services. It's possible that Google might add a shortcut somewhere in the accessibility menu to trigger Circle to Search.</div><div><br /></div><div>All these changes are a welcome addition and provide more flexibility to customize how they access Circle to Search on their device.
